The Radio Amateurs' Emergency Network

RSGB RAYNET Groups Membership approval and the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS)

What is BPSS? This is a check recognised by industry, government & security services as a valid way of establishing a person's identity.

As the Radio Amateur's Emergency Network already has robust procedures for verifying the identity of its members to meet the requirments of Resilance Direct, it has been agreed to provied a modified version of this service to members of RSGB RAYNET groups.

The procedure starts with downloading the three files below and then following the instructions in the "BPSS Procedure for RSGB RAYNET Members" document.

A list of documents that are acceptable for providing proof of identity are detailed in the "Briefing document for RAYNET Controllers".
